CELEBRATIONS IN THE WORKPLACE
Christians in the Corporate World
Some Christians that I know don't believe in drinking, don't believe in dancing, don't believe in smoking, don't believe in gambling, don't believe in cursing and don't believe in bringing the house down while partying. Many of these things go hand in hand with corporate celebrations.
If this sounds a bit like you, and you're caught in the crossfire, don't feel obligated to participate due to job-related reasons. While you don't need to jump on a pedestal and preach hell, fire and brimstone, you also are under NO obligation to mimic what your boss or co-workers expect of you in your private life.
Be yourself; stand up for what you believe in and you will garner respect. And respect is a desirable quality when searching for a leader. And if anyone is mean because you didn't make the big party, then consider hiding the aspirin bottle.....
