There is a story in the New Testament that tells of a taxing time, of when an apostle was told to go to the water where he would find a fish with money in its mouth - enough money to satisfy the owing taxes.

This story brings to mind a personal situation that recently transpired. I had gone to give blood for some tests the doctor ordered, and the lady who was drawing my blood was obviously a Christian.

Amid her work, she eased out that God wants us as Christians to have so much in life. That He wants to give us as much as He can. The problem, she said, is that we don't always take what He wants to give us.

I found great comfort in her words. Sometimes God sends us through trying times - through things that we really may not want to do, and to places in life that we just don't want to go.

But no matter what the road ahead has to offer, as long as we accept God's hand and remain strong and devoted to Him, we really have nothing to fear. God is leading us anyway. And where He leads, may just contain a moneyfish!
