GOD FEEDING THE MULTITUDES
When we think of feeding the multitudes, we generally see Jesus, the loaves of bread and the baskets of fish that were passed out to the hungry multitude.
And the supply was enough to feed the multitude! It was probably the best bread and fish that anyone there had ever eaten in their life!
God feeds multitudes daily, but it has nothing to do with food on earth as we know it. He accomplishes thus in divers ways. He may use a friend to support and comfort another friend. He may use a doctor to save a child's life.
He may use a grandparent to help a grandchild through a difficult time at school. He may use a stranger on the street to open up a door as a couple enters the restaurant. He may use a minister to get out His Word.
He may even visit the multitudes by way of the Bible to feed them - warming hearts, touching souls, creating joy and great thought.
It's a very big job. We're very lucky we have God in charge of feeding the multitudes.
