BIBLICAL STORIES IN THE OLD TESTAMENT
Most of the stories in the Old Testament are very powerful and remain embedded after they are heard for the very first time.
These stories are all wonderful - the Creation, Noah and the Ark, King David & Goliath, the Children in the Fiery Furnace, Moses and the Ten Commandments, Daniel in the Lion's Den, and Jonah in the Belly of the Whale. What a fish story that was!
The stories in the Old Testament are also very thought provoking and many hold primitive ways that might be hard for some to understand.
But it was a different life in those days. There weren't supermarket cows back then. So people in the old Biblical days did what they needed to do to survive.
Genesis is one of my favorite books in the Old Testament because it outlines the story of Creation. It's such a beautiful story - and the fact that it's a true story tempers each written word.
The stories in the New Testament offer a better foundation of love and most are centered around Jesus.
The Old Testament tells of the days before His Coming, and there are many verses that can be tied to the New Testament that offer light and clarification.
I can't possibly imagine one without the other because the two complete one another.
