A Diet Coat of
Many Colors
  
Is your diet feeling a little bland
these days? Then let's dress it up with a coat
of many colors!
Begin adding
diet bling to your menus by adding the following. You
can't go wrong - simply pick your favorite color:
Red
- sliced beets, buttered beets (use no calorie butter
spray), pickled beets (a few shots of apple cider vinegar
and a few spoons of Splenda - then refrigerate until
ice cold and crisp), red cabbage, rhubarb.
Green
- try mixing up a bit of succotash (lima beans and corn),
pea salad (1 can of drained peas, few spoons of LIGHT
Mayo, pimento, diced onion, shredded lettuce, 1 ounce
of grated cheese, bit of pickle relish), cabbage (create
the most delicious slaw by mixing the following ingredients:
shredded cabbage, shredded carrots, celery seed - just
a dash, light Mayo).
Yellow
- Squash comes in a rainbow of colorful selections -
from butternut to acorn. Let your Diet Imagination run

Purple
- Eggplant, turnips and purple onions!
Orange
- Pumpkin Soup,
cantaloupe and buttered carrots sprayed with no calorie
butter spray.
