If you have a lot of weight to lose, start out slowly - such as taking five minutes for a walk. Then build from there. Work up to fifteen to twenty minutes minimum each day. Some suggestions: Biking, skating, hula-hooping, jumping rope, hiking, shooting hoops, walking, swimming and playing a favorite sports. Be sure to get permission from your doctor before engaging in any activity routine.
