If you are trying to lose weight, you can calculate how long it will take to lose 'x pounds' by dividing 2 into the number of pounds you want to lose.

 

For example, if Dieter Jan wants to lose 24 pounds, it's going to take her about 12 weeks to reach her weight loss goal.

SNACKS – What is a diet plan without snacks?  A very boring one...

We've got a list of some tasty snacks that will get your mouth smacking. Choose two snacks to enjoy each day, preferably one in morning and one in the afternoon.

 

The snacks listed below contains about 100 calories each, but if you have another favorite snack that falls within this range, enjoy!

Or, if you'd prefer a 200 calorie snack once each day, you can do that too.

1 banana
1 apple
1 orange
1 peach
1 pear
2 plums
1 cup strawberries
10 prunes
½ cantaloupe
1 cup cherries
1 tangerine
1 cup grapes
2 kiwi fruit
1 slice cheese
2 rice cakes
8 crackers of any variety
Carrot Sticks
Celery Sticks
1 Cookie
1 nonfat pudding
1 cup of dry cereal
1 fruit roll-up
½ bagel
½ English muffin
1 ½ cups of lite popcorn
½ scone
1 CUP skim milk
1 piece of angelfood cake
½ cup cottage cheese
½ bagel
1 Cow’s Tail (it’s a popular candy)
1 ear of corn
1 Charleston Chew (the 80-calorie stick)
1 serving animal crackers
1 small can of any fruit
1 small 1-inch circle of any large melon or fresh pineapple
1 lowfat granola bar
1 Little Debbie Oatmeal Pie (or Fudge Round or Moon Pie – Little Debbie’s only)
1 lite, sugar-free nonfat yogurt
1 cup of any vegetable
