Diet Approved, That Is!
Before striking out on a diet, you'll want
to study it thoroughly. (No, not while munching on a bag of hot-buttered
popcorn or chocolates that kiss you!)
Search for a few diets that you feel are worthy
AND healthy (your doctor can perhaps provide the best diet plan).
Next, find a quiet, comfortable spot and settle in to review all
the information.
- Does the diet incorporate the basic food
group?
- Does the diet prescribe massive amounts
of exercise?
- Does the diet require special tools? Exotic
foods for lowfat recipes?
- Does the diet list a barrage of tortures,
then tout a '2 pound per week weight loss'? If so....well,
that's the NORMAL rate of weight loss that you can expect from most
any diet - even a starvation diet. That's very true, and something
that I unfortunately learned from personal experience.
And perhaps most importantly, does the diet
appear to be fun - allowing your favorite foods as rewards, while
offering a full plate of wholesome foods that will satisfy your
hunger for hours to come?
If so - that's the best diet!
